Energetic, loud, brash, Royal Dead are making waves in the psychobilly scene. Fast guitars, stand-up bass and aggressive drumming support songs about hot rods, girls, zombies and horror flicks.
Hailing from Denver, Colorado, Royal Dead formed in early 2004 and saw a few lineup changes before their current incarnation of Eddie Suicide on vocals and guitar, Derek Beef on Stand-up bass and backing vocals and Steve Marauder on drums and backing vocals. Eddie Suicide has always been the heart of the band, coming up with most of melodies and lyrics which are rooted from his days in the punk and industrial scenes.
Their music runs the gamut of influences, from hardcore punk, rockabilly, country and old school rock and roll with tongue in cheek references to old horror movies.
Royal Dead have just finished their first national tour and have shared the stage with bands such as Nekromantix, The Chop Tops and the Koffin Kats. Their first full length album, Enough Noise to Raise the Dead is was recently released through Kheperi Global Media.
